Hi everyone, working from home and hooked up with the BBC One broadcast as live to bring you this, and so the padding beforehand to make sure you didn't miss a thing. Have trimmed the video now, so the trails will come off soon. 🙂
We will meet again ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good speech
This was her swan song.
I'm not a British citizen, I'm Iranian, and my king was exiled and my country is suffering, but her voice is what always warms my heart. Such a magnificent woman, can't believe she is gone, the world needs more people like her. This is my message to the British people, monarchy is what binds the whole nation, be thankful for this gift that you have, we lost it, but I hope you take good care of it, as it takes care of you
I remember when I saw this back then, and it was exactly the message for the world to hear. It gave me inspiration and resolve. RIP.
I remember waking up and seeing this in the news, it brightened my day Just hearing our beautiful queen in a hard time
I really miss Her Majesty.😪
i miss her…this time of year will always remind me of her now
Ovlrds
Messed up but imagine the powerful speeches she would've made if we were in a world war. We totally missed out. Why couldn't we just take russia's bait?
😥😥😥.
“I want to thank everyone on the NHS frontline” That’s the same NHS who are currently on strike over pay and conditions! We sacrifice our lives for them and they repay us by striking!
I miss the Queen 👑
She truly was one of a kind. Once in several generations kind of person ! It is not the same in the UK since our Queen has gone 🙁
We so needed her at this moment, and at this moment, she was so there for us.
This is what the late Queen did best. Doing what no politician can do. Letting everyone know that we are all in this together. The picture of Her Majesty sitting isolated for Prince Phillips funeral was heartbreaking. They are now together again. God Bless Queen Elizabeth. ❤
I'm an American, and this speech still gives me the chills. God Bless her, and may she rest in peace.
I gives my daughter his name
Elizabeth ❤
As if you care
''We will meet again'' – Yes, we will, if not on earth then in heaven. Rest in peace, your Majesty, Queen of Great Britain and of importance to many more. You will be missed, not just in GB but also in Germany (My home country).
During corona, I was worried and anxious, depressed even. But I didnt get the listen to the Queen's speech, because I live in Germany. I just now found it and though it might be way too late, it deeply touched me. My sorrows and grief and respect to everyone in the UK. Regards, a German.
Just hearing Her Late Majesty's voice gives me chills. May Her Late Majesty rest in peace with her beloved Prince Philip and her family
❤
not anymore lmao
❤❤❤
Thank God for QE2. ❤
Watching this back in 2024, this broadcast really kept me going. She responded magnificently.
Rest In Peace❤
Churchill in his grave going, "Damn, wish I had said that"
'And those that come after us, will say the Britons of this generation were as strong as any'
Of all the speeches made during the pandemic, this was the one that showed the most hope. The Queen had always been a symbol of stability. It was comforting, to see such a symbol of continuity delivering a message in such a tumultuous time.
Rest in dearest peace, Your Majesty.
Rest in peace, your majesty ❤
Rest in peace, your majesty. We will see you again.
God bless her in heaven
❤❤❤❤❤
RIP Queen
God, sincerely thank you for this great woman in a world of less than mediocre men and women.
Only thing she didn't survive was the crowning of King Charles. I don't think any of us have.
