Last night, the first episode of ITV’s new series ‘Breathtaking’ hit our screens – giving viewers an insight into the shocking reality of hospital life during the pandemic. Starring Joanne Froggatt as Dr Abbey Henderson, it’s based on consultant Rachel Clarke’s 2021 memoir about working on the frontline of an urban hospital during the Covid crisis. Ahead of tonight’s episode, we’re joined by Dr Thom Petty and Dr Andrew Cinnamond who were two of the medical advisors behind the scenes of the drama and who worked on the NHS frontline during the pandemic. .

I totally get where the drs are coming from I was h/c worker who caught it and became really unwell getting long covid and have since lost my job. This totally brought it all back to me and has triggered all the anxiety and negative feelings. It’s upset me so much but feel it needs to be watched to if nothing else bring it home to me how lucky I was . Thanks to the NHS workers who treated me .
I am so glad i am watching it its the goverment at fault nhs england were to blame no body would listen to the hospital staff should be ashamed people need to watch it ❤

Any help for people locked in high rise flats with young children, homeschooling for 3 months, with no garden, screaming kids, no sports, play dates, playgrounds and parks closed? Any support for their PTSD?
Fortunately this kind of Soviet-style propaganda just looks ridiculous to most people. Awkward when you're a legacy propaganda company during a great awakening.
