  1. I have been using VCO over 15 years and in around the last 5 years I also started using chia seeds, turmeric and mushrooms that come in vitamin form. I also started doing bicycle crunches that work the lower abdominal muscles a lot better. I also started snacking more on roasted almonds. Not sure exactly what caused it, but I lost 70 lbs.!

  2. I just saw a video with you purported as saying you were wrong about gluten, then I saw it wasn't your video. Are you now or have you ever been a member of the glutenist party? 😉

  3. I tried to order 3 bottles of high poly phenol olive oil but was taken through upsells, a lot of them! By the time I checked out another six bottles of olive oil had been added to my order I got on the chat on the website to complain I was offered a 30% discount on the 6 bottles which I accepted though I was not completely happy as I wanted to order 3 bottles first to try it out. Now when I check the email with order confirmation only 6 bottles appear instead of 9 bottles which I was charged for!!! What is this about? Is this for real? I trust Dr Gundry completely but this is disappointing I need this corrected, where do .I go? I know this may not appear here as it would put people off That’s not my aim I just need this corrected HELP!!!

  4. Best explanation I've heard and I've done a ton of research. My wife and I are up to a tablespoon per day and we started out with a teaspoon per day for about a week. No side effects. This was a very impressive video. I subbed half way through. Thank you Doctor.

  5. Here is a summary of the key points:

    – MCT oil stands for medium-chain triglyceride oil. It contains fatty acids from coconut and palm kernel oils that have medium chain lengths of 6-12 carbon atoms.

    – The best MCT for ketogenic effects is caprylic acid (C8), followed by capric acid (C10). Caprylic acid has the strongest ketogenic effect. Coconut oil contains mostly lauric acid (C12) which does not have ketogenic effects.

    – When consumed, MCTs are absorbed directly into the liver and converted into ketone bodies. This is different than other fats which enter the lymphatic system first.

    – Ketones produced from MCTs signal mitochondria to produce more of themselves (mitogenesis) and uncouple, wasting energy as heat. This protects and repairs mitochondria.

    – MCTs can induce ketosis even when carbohydrates are consumed, making them useful for various diets or conditions requiring ketones like epilepsy.

    – Start with 1 teaspoon of MCT oil and increase slowly, as women can be more sensitive to side effects like nausea. Powders may be better tolerated.

    – MCT oil benefits brain health and can be useful for those with the APOE4 Alzheimer's gene. It is preferred over coconut oil for these individuals.

    – When possible, mix MCT oil with healthy fats like olive oil for additional benefits from polyphenols. Start slowly to avoid intolerance.

  6. I bought and tried MTC, I did not realize it could cause upset stomach and balloting, I was in a lot of pain the two days I tried it. I waited a few days and tried it again later in the day instead of in the morning and it happened again. Now I have a quart and I can't consume it.
Now I can use coconut oil and have not noticed it to upset my stomach, although I do not use it in my coffee.

  7. So you debunked the fact that every single marathon runner is in ketosis for the majority of the marathon but somehow glucose is far superior as fuel lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  8. Check the DARPA research on exogenous ketones if you really want to know the benefits it's just one of the many many many benefits not to mention treating epilepsy Alzheimer's schizophrenia ADHD autism etc etc This is so ridiculous to listen to people say nonsense like this

  9. I went thru two bottles of MCT oil and did not feel any difference . I did one tablespoon in my coffee one time in the morning WHY WHY WHY
