In this video, I give you the specific solutions on the best weight loss diet for busy moms, including the best foods to eat, what to avoid, meals to make, and the meal-time schedule that can keep things simple and sustainable for you and your family.

If you’re following a weight loss diet plan for women over 40 that is not simple and sustainable, then it’s not an option for you. Crash diets or restrictive diets will not see you through the long-term and are more likely to end with you gaining more weight than you lose.

In terms of the foods to eat, a weight loss diet for women at home is made up of 4 things; Proteins, Carbs, Healthy Fats and Veggies. Preparing your meals using a simple principle we call ‘The Perfect Plate’, means you will simply use 1 of each of these groups in every meal.

When it comes to meal timings, there are a couple of schedules that work really well on a weight loss diet plan for women over 50. These are the 4 x 4, meaning you eat 4 meals each day, scheduled 4 hours apart; or intermittent fasting, which has you skip breakfast and eat your first meal later in the day.

  2. I just hired a fitness and nutrition coach. I was trying to eat 3 meals a day and I just couldn’t do it, my stomach was full and I was miserable. He said, if you’re not hungry, don’t eat. I’m much better off eating 2 meals a day, everyone is different.

  4. He is the best nutritionist I have ever found. I am in healthcare and he hits everything right on. He also is teaching us how to lift weights – how to know reps and how often and how to increase weight or what weight to use. His nutrition is 💯 correct. I cannot say enough of good things about him!! Oh and more more thing – he also doesn’t shove random products at you or false
    promises or a 20 minutes questionnaire just to get your email address and information. A ton of his info is on YouTube. After watching and doing them over just one week, I am ready to get the full program – is it necessary? Probably not. It is something I enjoy and feel works, so I want to do more. He just makes it so easy! Ya just have to DO it ❤

  5. Thank you for making this channel for women over 50! Very straightforward and informative. I’m doing 16/8 fasting(8pm to 12pm), but work out at 6am. I understand I need to take my protein shake after the workout, but it contradicts with my fasting schedule. Any suggestions are appreciated!

  6. As a menopausal women of 53 I average between 3-5 hours a night sleep due to hot flushes, so if someone out there can help me sleep 7 hours uninterrupted I would be eternally grateful 🥰

  7. Great video! In terms of fitness, is it true that you shouldn’t do cardio when you’re trying to loose weight in your late 30s or 40s? Been doing simple yoga and weight lifting, hope it works along with these food tips.
