I’m on my third week of high protein lower carb diet and working outa couple times a week. I’m not seeing any significant weight loss yet. Is it too soon to expect results or is it possible that I am an outlier that may not respond to this type of diet?
Its truth i only eat protein for a month and drink vitamin for nutrition and lost 15kg without doing any workout lol
Very informative
i really needed this
You have nothing to say about fat ratio? This is only helpful within the context of fat / protein ratio. I eat near 0% carb but have not lost any weight in 2 years since the initial 45 lb weight loss.
I am a heavy eater, 2022, i started a low carb diet. My protein intake is more or less the same, lost 35 kg, that is from 115kg to 80kg in a year.
Started on protein and vegetables diet today. I’m over 40 and the weight has to go once and for all. New subscriber 👍🏽
40% carbs? You must be kidding!
I am insulin resistant and had a lady make my meals for me
keto meals I though this is it I will lose all my weight sad thing is i hardly lost any weight was a struggle for 8 months only lost 10 kilos on keto diet it didn't work. I remember years back in my 20s I would do protein and low carbs no fat and I dropped the weight like crazy, I think I need to go back to a protein diet more than a keto diet also 3 personal trainers at the gym told me to have more protein in my diet not Keto .
Unfortunately keto did not work for me i never really felt full all day on keto i would always eat to much fat nuts, keto bars ect, which is also alot of calories. Protien keeps you full all day and have more energy on protein then keto. Thanks for the info doc.
Appreciate your work!
So useful
I’ve been eating high protein for the past year and even when I stopped weight lifting completely for 6 weeks I hardly lost muscle mass and my body fat % stayed relatively constant!
Is there any research about diets with high protein, low fat, low carbs?
Everyone talks endlessly about Keto but I just gain more fat the more fat I eat.
such a perfect video
thanks
Luckily I like all kinds of protein from red meat to dairy
Thank you so much this is what I needed
Wow u just helped me understand why Iost weight quickly but my bmi went up and I was so confused … but yah more protein so u don’t lose all ur precious muscle .. bmi went from 24% to 28 %
Thank you for this video. I need to shed 55 pounds and this information will help me get there a lot faster
Gotta make some gainsssss
Great info! Thank you.
You have a weak voice.
Studies have shown that if you have protein for breakfast you eat less kilojoules all day long because your protein hunger is satiated.
Great I completely agree with you
Bread should come with a warning label. It is as dangerous if not worse than sugar, in terms of how detrimental to your body, specially psychologically, lowering self esteem and causing depression.
My god every time I quit eating meat and chicken I loss more weight 😮
I'm Morbid Obese at 340 pounds and this diet seems to be my magic key to work after doing plant based diets and high Fat Keto diet.
Which they didn't really worked for me.High Fat Keto somewhat worked but I hit Plateau for few years now.
Well, I just loss 7 pounds this week just on more high Protein (around 250 grams of Protein a day).I am monitoring much of my fats and carbs. It seems that both carbs and fat have an impact on my body.
Well, I'm keeping them very low and I'm eating most carbs from fruits than simply eating breads and rice. Also, I was a heavy Fat eater from eating too much red meat, avocados, olive oil, eggs bacon type of salads but I think I over did it with the fat. Now,I'm keeping an eye on not consuming too many fats either (doesn't matter if they're good fats).
Well, I'm seeing an improvement.
I'm hoping I could drop at least 100 pounds.
Yes, definitely do not do a High ALL and Only High Protein diet– I heard it's dangerous..
Our bodies do need some carbs and fats.
Also,I could eat up to 300 grams of protein but again.Im surviving off Greek Low Fat yogurts, Protein Shakes that have 1 grams of fat and few grams of carbs with fiber per serving,2 regular eggs and 4-5 egg whites mixed together, but of course we need the cleanest protein, Skinless Chicken and Turkey Breast,97% lean ground beef, lean pork ham,fat free milk, fat free cottage cheese.
Like I mentioned, most of the carbs I get are mostly from fruit and vegetables.I limit my fat even as I love Avocados,I eat very little now.Butter, very limited, Olive oil- very limited too.
As an Obese person,I could eat up to 300 grams of Protein a day and adjust my intake as I begin to lose this weight of 340 pounds.Yes,from research I heard a big person could get or should be their go to a High Protein diet until our weight drops and we adjust our protein intake as we see much weight come off first.
Also,300 grams of Clean daily Protein intake is quite challenging to get it and you do get full and won't reach all the daily grams of protein we need in a day.Few days I accomplish eating 300 grams of protein a day.
