Philadelphia Phillies ace Zack Wheeler made some big news earlier this week when he signed a three-year, $126 million contract extension with the team.
If you’re wondering why the Phillies would invest so much money in the right-hander, you just need to look two ridiculous pitches he threw against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday.
Wheeler, whose extension is the biggest in MLB history, looked to be in midseason form against the Orioles, which is bad news for hitters.
