Kyrie Irving: Celtics Fans Have the RIGHT to Boo Me | Mavericks Postgame Interview | Only Sports And Health

BOSTON — In the Celtics 138-110 victory over the Dallas Mavericks, Kyrie Irving scored 19 points for Dallas but struggled with his shooting, going 9 of 23 from the field. Addressing the boos from Celtics fans, Irving said, “Rightfully so they have a right to boo and, you know, for my career record against them for the last few games I haven’t won so until I beat them, they have all the right to continue to boo. I think that’s what makes the theatrics of sports and competitive sports fun and just gotta embrace it. It’s a part of it.”

  1. People are so soft about people booing kyrie. It’s a rivalry Something the nba has been missing recently. He’s right about the comment “that’s what makes sports fun”

  2. it’s like i don’t hate kyrie anymore, still one of my favorite player. but when he play in td garden, the fans can boo him or any other player as much as they want. it’s just the way it is

  3. Stomping Celtics logo will always haunt him and the fans. T'was unprofessional but let's move on. I'm a Celtics fan since I was elementary and I am now at late seventies and still will root for the Celtics come win or lose.

  4. Crazy how Kyrie went to Cleveland and getting so much love and appreciation to Boston and getting so much hate and no appreciation LMAOOO. In a matter of a few days. Go be great Kyrie❤️

  5. I mean this is a dude that "promises to resign" with Boston to the fans with his own words then got caught talking to KD about teaming up at the All-star game and then he gave up in the playoffs when the were getting wrecked so he can go to Brooklyn. He SHOULD know why they boo him. Lol

  6. Kyrie, as a lifelong Celtics fan, I have not, and will not ever boo you. I love Celtics basketball… but love basketball 1st and you have contributed to this game. You have done amazing things off the court for families and individuals, that the media doesn't cover. On behalf of humanity, I'm sorry for all the negativity. Luckily, you already know life is bigger than basketball, so don't sweat it.
    ✌️ & ❤
