  1. Always respected Adrian, for someone only 6' 5" he did some serious damage in the paint. A very smart player with a lot of talent, it was a sad day when the Jazz traded him to the Pistons. Thanks for posting this, and Adrian if you happen to read this thanks for the great memories and nice to see you living a sweet life.

  2. I had the pleasure of playing against this brother in high school. It was the Jelleff Summer League in Georgetown, Wasington DC. It was the playoffs and we were the eighth seed. He score 40 points on us while arriving late to the game and missing most of the first half. He's a DC Ledgend and a hell of a nice guy!

  3. Love the fact that he "gives back" to the kids , community. this is a terrific way to get to heaven. It doesn't matter if Isiah Thomas or Chuck Daley like you or not.good Job AD

  4. Played against him in high school in a tournament when he was with Dematha. I never saw someone so dominating without being excessively tall. He was explosive but had a quick release often without leaving the floor. His team was the best in the country.

  5. Adrian is one of my favorite all-time college basketball players. I remember watching watching he and Notre Dame go into Pauley Pavilion and breaking the record at 81 games against UCLA.

  6. It’s funny how people think he broke because he’s retired and found a new purpose he rich as hell but imagine your entire life revolved around something then it stops you gotta find something to give your life meaning and this what he like

  7. I was born in 1996. Mr. Dantley seems like what Tracy McGrady is for our generation. He'll be forgotten by the masses. But if you saw it when it happened, ohhhhh man… T-Mac or Kobe was a conversation for a few years. Mr. Dantley, thank you from INDIA :). You did a great service to our game and you continue as a person. Again, love from INDIA! 🙂
