IMO I like to Mis match colors that compliment each other because when I match with the shoes and jersey it feels like I’m in middle school but it still looks nice I just think it’s a bit more creative when you can find colors that compliment each other and it’s more unique because you see a lot of people dress the same . For example a Kobe white Sunday jersey 24 and the Kobe 8 grinches those colors don’t match but they compliment each other and look nice . I get you on the wanting to match shoes with the player but I think if the jersey had a Jordan logo on you have to pair it with a pair of Js, I wear my bucks giannis and Orlando magic jerseys with a pair of Jordan ones
