How To Impress At A Football Trial | Mehran Rowshan | Only Sports And Health

One of the most frequently asked questions I get!

“How do I impress at a trial?”

Most players think they should show crazy skills or score a solo goal to be picked at tryouts, but coaches look for intelligent footballers who get the job done for the team.

I’m sure this video will help you succeed with your trial! Good luck!

  1. That's to polite to be a pro u ll never be a pro following this tips….. First thing u have to be good in playing football.. Second thing U must be a son of a gun… Third thing create a good vibe in the team… If u re too polite and too schematic they ll eat U alive

  2. I have a question i want you to answer what if a player does not impress you with want you said but is the best player in the pitch by far or a player who really impress you but is okay at football

  3. Your words are simple but these are golden
I respect you 💯 Sir… Thank you so much
In'Shaa'Allah 💯, if Allah want, we Will meet soon…
    As your student…
    Once again thank you 😊

  4. Im at a pro club and if you want a even better chance at making it, make sure you always ask the coaches if they need help setting up the equipment before and after the trial

  5. No offense, but you state that coaches wants professional players but they came from an environment of non professional players if you think about with reasonable attitude. Let's teach that AFTER a satisfactory contract that makes anything else officially professional because what kids needs to know is that even in a top tier championship some clubs have an environment still from third category and that's ok! And for the chronicles, I don't care about the socks all tied up because where I came from the best potential talents doesn't look like dancers. Another point that should make you more humble and less picky on the socio-economical aspect is that a family kid may couldn't afford a "full kit". It is truly remarkable when a club provides for that, at least, for the event only. There is always time to build up a money machine. All this attitude that you show here let me think that soccer/football in 2024 is a fancy, sophisticated job for the richest. We don't need even more materialism than the nowadays society already stuffed around us. We need values, humble souls if our intentions are genuine in order to shape kid's mentalities in the right way.

  6. PS another thing: YOU are in charge of building up their personality through a mental work that goes beside the pitch. You cannot pretend they already shaped in terms of mentality. It's absurd.

  7. @Mehran Rowshan I am trying to apply for PSG football academy in the UAE and I have a trial 7PM on Monday any tips you can give me? I am not so good but I wanna get better so I applied for the academy.

  8. 1. Are you on time? Be early and ready.
    2. Are you fully suited up, including socks and shinguards?
    3. Did you say hi to the coach? Introduce yourself.
    4. Do not chit chat. Grab the ball and warm up, with someone or on your own. Pass the ball, juggle, etc.
    5. During the trial, put your best effort. If you make a mistake or lose the ball don’t complain, recover it. Good attitude.
    6. Keep it simple. Coaches want players that can get the job done. Simple pass, good positioning, scan the field.
    7. At the end of the trial, “Thank you coach for the trial. I really hope I get the opportunity.”

  9. I just completed my trials and got selected as a right back and not even in side team or reserve i am in the main team furst player no substitute thank you very much coach
