I totally understand sharpe's point 3 weeks ago IF purdy didn't play well, but he played fantastic exactly what you'd expect from an elite QB to play like. BUT you cannot blame him for this loss or those "moments" blame Shannahan for this loss. First time i'm agreeing with Dan but he's right, both SAS and Sharpe are grasping at straws while shifting the goalposts to devaluate the "boxes being ticked" for Purdy. This segment is one of their worst performances imo, sports analysts have horrible standards for players to achieve to to be consider great or elite.
May i remind them that two times in separate seasons Brady Folded and Sold the game against the Giants and Eli Manning, does that take anything away from Brady's career? No.

I am a true Steelers fan. Brock is easy #2 behind Patrick. Stop playing Shay Shay. How many players went to the Superbowl x 2(period and first 2 years) and how man Qb's even have a Superbowl besides 5 active players. He's this year MVP and #2. This is coming from a Steelers fan.
Shannon, you are wrong on this one. You must have not gotten the memo. The Chiefs defense is why they were in the SuperBowl, and also why we won it. Purdy played good and with the right play calling could have beat my chiefs. No he is not Patrick, but he is also not a slouch. He took some shots and made some great throws. I was skeptical of him too, not because of him, but because of the media trying to hype him up to Mahomes level. And lets face it, nobody is on Mahomes level in this era of the NFL. And maybe that is what is motivating your feeling also. Kyle S. on the other hand, could not lead his team to victory, just like before. There is a common denominator there, and its not Brock Purdy.
