Doctor Reacts to BIZARRE Facebook Health Posts | Only Sports And Health

I’ve taken a look at disturbing health posts showing up everywhere from YouTube to TikTok, but today I decided to take a look at the source of a lot of the internet’s medical misinformation: Facebook. What I saw drove me up the wall. Quiet a baby by pressing pressure points? Heal muscle soreness by walking barefoot? The dangers of a red tongue?! Don’t believe everything you see in a Facebook video, and definitely don’t share it unless you can verify it’s TRUE!

I LOVE reading your comments and take your suggestions seriously. If there’s a subject you want me to discuss or something you’d like for me to react to, leave a comment down below. Many of my videos have been born out of suggestions directly from you, so don’t hold back!

  1. I would like to add to the barefoot walking discussion. There are theories about electrical exchange which has no backed studies, however a benefit I can vouch for is terrain. The lumps and textures on the ground massage the feet and I believe that is why barefoot walking is linked to relaxation and therefore better sleep. Who doesn't sleep better after a massage?

  2. i love that it seems Dr Mike has never heard of reflexology, at least when these videos were made. every time he reacts with astonished laughter. it's perfect 🤌

  3. If you are doing a specific dance routine or learning specific dance step/movements, it could help your memory. Because you have to learn and repeat these moves/routine.

  4. As a pagan I do get energy from nature, its just a pagan spiritual thing. But we don't use it instead of proffessional health care if we need it. But for the mental and at a spiritual level yes nature gives energy

  5. An import fact to look at with test results is who is paying for it, and how much money they stand to make. The insensitive to draw conclusions they want and suppress the contrary data and call it proof is very high.

  6. The reason why they say that moderate alcohol consumption lowers your chance of a heart attack is because if you drink some amount of alcohol you are more likely to be a bit more wealthy which makes you more likely to be less stressed which reduces heart attacks, (but the consumption itself doesn't have a positive effect)
great video as always, keep up the good work

  7. Come on doctor… ofc dance can boost memory. You need to remember moves, steps, position and posture, music and rhythm in order to practice dancing. Brain needs to count… it works overtime and you don't feel like it does.

  8. Is sleeping on your back without a pillow on the head okay? I've been doing it since last year but I want to know if I will have problems on the future for doing that.
