  1. I remember the story about the football (soccer🤮) team and the lightning. Apparently, the team that succumbed on the field had metal spikes on their cleats while the opposing team had plastic or some other kind of material on theirs.

  2. Including the wwf in a segment about sports deaths is like listing usernames for fallen call of duty players as war heroes.
    They're athletic entertainers. It's not a sport.
Real wrestling doesn't have a script.

  3. How about Greg Moore. He was a very talented sports car driving. Half the ppl in this list I’ve never heard of. But if your gunna feature Canadians make sure you do your research.

  4. Tragedy followed Ray Chapman’s widow as well. After his death Katie eventually gave birth to a baby girl, whom she named Rae. She remarried business man, J. F. McMahon & moved to LA, Calif. Together they had a son, J.F. McMahon Jr.
Katie suffered with depression after Ray’s death, and eventually she committed suicide by drinking cleaning fluid in 1928.
Katie & Ray’s daughter Rae, stayed in California with her step-father after her mothers suicide, but tragically died from the measles the following year. Both mother and daughter are buried in Cleveland, OH in the same cemetery as her first husband, Ray Chapman.

  5. I personally would’ve included Denny Morrison on this list. He was an Indycar racer who was gonna try to go as far as he could from a last place start in an attempt to raise money for a fan, but instead a fatal crash prevented this from happening. This led to one of the most emotional moments in a Discovery Channel series as there was an episode of Nerve Centre that just so happened to be documenting Morrison’s last race, meaning his tragic death was also documented in the episode, as was the five-lap salute the other racers did after finding out that he didn’t make it to the hospital following the crash
